Butterfield Ranch is a community in the southern region of Chino Hills, California that offers plenty of recreational opportunities for the outdoor enthusiast.
This neighborhood has hundreds of homes with a variety of sizes and styles. To the west is Chino State Park which offers miles of hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding trails. There are also camping and picnic sites. To the north is the Prado Regional Park where visitors have access to archery, camping, a shooting range, and fishing as well as a golf course. Meadows Park features benches, animal wash racks, and trails. And the Big League Dreams Sports Complex is only a few minutes away.
The highly ranked Butterfield Ranch Elementary is within walking distance. And the Chino Valley Unified School District serves this area with Robert O. Townsend Junior High School and Chino Hills High School; both are also excellent facilities. There are several charter and private schools as well such as Chino Christian School, Loving Saviour of the Hills, and Oxford Preparatory Academy. Biola University and California State Polytechnic University, Pomona is both nearby.
There are several shopping centers in Chino Hills. Within this community is the Butterfield Ranch Plaza center which has a convenience store, gas station, and Jack in the Box. Residents also like to visit The Shops at Chino Hills, Chino Spectrum Marketplace, and The Commons.
Chino Hills is considered to be a suburban city and one of the safest cities in the nation. There are many places of worship for different religions including Nondenominational Christianity Evangelical, Roman Catholicism, The Church of Latter Day Saints, Buddhism, Hinduism, and Lutheranism.
